A Little About MTA Karate Club.

Mount Allison Shotokan Karate is historic. It is where Shihan David Pyke started his training in 1980. At the time the club was run by Sensei Tony and Danny Tam. Previous to the Tams, Sensei Barry Ripley and Sensei Tony Fahey taught at Mount A. Shihan Pyke would take over the club after the Tams moved but he was forced to close it due to low enrolment. In 2002, Sensei Norm Robitza reopened the club as a brown belt.
